YUSUKE YOSHIKOName: Yusuke Yoshiko, child bandit
Age: 10
Gender: Male
Kekkei Genkai: None
=====================
Village of Allegiance: Wanderer
Rank: Genin
Specialty: Taijutsu
Chakra Element: Wind (fuuton)
Personality: Although his past haunts him daily and nightly, Yusuke hides everything with a big grin. He's quiet, but mischevious. He has a firm belief in the words what we think we become. When he has a friend he is loyal to that friend and respects them whether they are younger or older than him. He thinks of older people as older siblings and of his younger friends as younger siblings. When he hears his past he becomes silent, as he hates hearing anything about masato. in battle he is a strategist, and uses everything he can find to his advantage.
Looks: Yusuke has grown up wearing either girl clothes (a punishment he got from his father) or hand me downs (later on when he finally escaped). His hand me downs are a pair of grey and extremely baggy pants and a black t-shirt. The shirt is covered by a large hoodie that, when the hood is up, obscures his face and when the sleeves are unrolled cover his hands completely. He wears red and black arm warmers that hide many scratches and scars from his abuse from his early life. His hands are especially covered because they have slashes at the knuckles from his dad's most violent beat down and his right palm has the name Masato cut into the skin. He sometimes wears a beanie or a regular cap. The boy is extremely pale, from being hidden in the shadows with his gang. His hair is down to the shoulders, and the bangs are long enough to hide his eyes and part of his nose. His eyes are black. Although he doesn't usually have any, weapons are able to be stored in the many pockets he has on his pants and inside and outside his hoodie.
History: Yusuke was originally born in a small village a few miles north of Iwagakure. His birth was the death of his mother, of whom supposedly had a disease that only showed at pregnancy. Her death caused Yusuke's father, a miserable drunk, a mental problem and he blamed the death on Yusuke. The mentality of his son being the death reason leaded to trying to ''dispose'' of Yusuke. He tried to kill the baby twice. He tried throwing the boy out the window, but the baby's cloth caught on a branch of a tree and thus did not fall. He tried to drown the child by throwing the boy into a pool, but the baby instead floated after 1 second underwater. The father grew tired of trying to kill the child, believing that it was the spirit of his wife protecting the ''demon seed''. So instead he decided to just make life miserable for Yusuke. And thus the beatings began.
Yusuke grew up being beat up by his drunk father. He had to take food into his room early in the day so he'd have something to eat later, when his father was done beating him. Yusuke looked a little normal. Never having a haircut his bangs hid his eyes. He had to wear girl's clothes every day and the only time he had boy's clothes was when his dad found rotten hand me downs in the junkyard. It was embarassing for the boy to go outside in a dress, but his father would grab him by the arm and lead him down to the market like some sort of dog. Yusuke's arms and legs were covered in the bruises and scratches that he got from being abused. To cover them up his dad gave him hand me down arm warmers and leg warmers. And his father never punched the boy in the face, since then people would suspect the abuse from the boys head wounds. Whenever Yusuke had enough and did something rebellous, he'd be beaten, then tarred and feathered. Then he'd be told to march down the street alone. But his father would catch him if he tried to run away after.
Would it ever end? Yes it would, for one day something happened. Yusuke was caught stealing a chocolate bar from the counter, since he'd never had one before. He was four, and was very curious. His father was in a drunken rage and did not hesitate to slash Yusuke's hands with a knife. Yusuke was then thrown at the counter, where a bottle of liquor stood. The bottle fell and broke, spilling the alchohol on the ground. Furious, the father ran after Yusuke, only to slip on the liquor, and crack his skull on the hard wood floor. Yusuke was then an orphan from that point on.
Yusuke was about to leave but halted, knowing he was smarter than this. He grabbed some food from the cabinets, then grabbed his dad's hoodie. He also grabbed the hand me downs mentioned earlier, and raced out the door. Yusuke became homeless, living on the streets. He ran out of food and was forced to steal food and clothing. He was forced to beg and plead for food and offer jobs to people. Nobody gave him a thing, and the boy was left for dead basically. But not giving up, he pressed on and learned moves that only a street dweller could learn. He stole weaponry from genins and copied their taijutsu and actions. He even learned to concentrate his chakra and use substitution jutsu from following a squad of genins and secretly participating in their learnings. Before long, he could pass as an academy student or a genin. By the time three years had passed, he was much more smart.
Eventually, he met a boy named Masato. Masato was 12, while Yusuke was 7 and a half. Masato knew how Yusuke felt about being abused and living on the streets. In turn, Yusuke saw Masato as a mentor. Masato was in a gang of bandits of which were more older kids, including an old man who'd been in the gang for 50 years. Yusuke joined, seeing he was getting nowhere on his own. He'd have to go through a test though. He had to prove his theivery skills by stealing a scroll from an elite group of ex-ANBU from Konoha. It took a week, but Yusuke came back, bloodied but holding the very scroll in his hand. Masato declared him one of the group and declared him the most determined newbie he'd ever seen. Yusuke smiled back before fainting.
Even though he was the youngest of the gang, he proved to be strong. He knew substitution jutsu and could manipulate his chakra to become far from noticed. Yusuke was the one usually sent out on scouting or spying missions. When faced in a bad position, he had some good fighting moves to keep other gangs away. The rival gang of his gang never knew what'd hit them. He continued to steal with his friends and thought life was getting better. It was on one day that he found the saying that would keep him determined for life. What we think we become. He never forgot it, and used it to motivate hiself when he was down. Everything was going fine until one day, when the rival gang declared a brawl. Stormy weather was ahead and rain lashed out as the boys headed to an abandoned junkyard, the same one where his father found his hand me downs, to fight. It began as violently as possible. Boys pummeled each other, found glass shards, found broken kunais. Yusuke could taste blood from his and the rival gang's. His eyes wildly looked around when he heard a scream. It was from Masato, who was being stabbed in the stomach with knives the rival gang's leader had hidden in his sleeves. Yusuke ran to help his friend, but it was too late, and Masato was killed in front of Yusuke. He saw more members dying from the hidden weapons and about 8 of them were left when the police came and arrested the living.
Before they could take Yusuke away he grabbed a glass shard and cut the name Masato into his palm, which would become a scar later on....Yusuke was placed in juvenile detention for two more years before being adopted into a foster family. They claimed to be relatives but Yusuke didn't trust them. All he did was write in a journal his memories of watching his gang dying in front of him. The small boy was having nightmares of the deaths, and he more than once had a vision of his father saying ''I told you I would get back my revenge....'' It was two more years (9 and a half) when he ran away. Going back to his ways of theivery, he now wanders, hiding his pain behind the mischeviousness of a 10 year old boy, who hopes to enroll into the academy.
